I have checked the logs and the system says that you have received notification by email, RSS and IM. Are you saying you did not receive any of these notification?

The cam was last time detected as online at: January 21, 2014 5:11 AM, you have received notification at exactly: 5:11:15 AM.

Please check again, please check the spam folder, the last IMs received.

Thanks!

I went online at 4:55 this morning and was watching a broadcast when at 5:00am on the right side margin pops up free_baller as online. So I clicked on his image and started watching his broadcast. I waited too see if IM and email would pop-up with notification, but did not receive one until after I reported non notification. The notifications arrived 11 minutes into the broadcast and he only stayed for 14 minutes longer so I would have missed almost half of his broadcast, which he packed a lot into before leaving.

Oky, so the most reliable notification is the RSS feed, if I understand correctly. You did get notified by rss but not by im and/or email.

For me, the notification delay is more than decent. I will invest more time in the future in order to improve it, but for now it is pretty good.

The broadcasting window (14 minutes) is too small for now in order for camnotifier to get you notified. I'am expecting at least 30 minutes from a broadcaster to stay online.

Hope this makes sense. Thank you.

I do not know what RSS is. I was at cam4 website watching broadcast when I saw free_baller on broadcasters screen I was viewing. When favorites come online while you are in a broadcast their image appear to right of broadcasters screen letting you know who just came online from my list of favorites on my cam site. The first notification from camnotifier came by yahoo messenger pop-up chat box and then email notification appeared at lower right corner of my laptop a few moments later.

OK, I understand now.

Please keep in mind that camnotifier has a detection / notification delay for which you can find more information on the dashboard - stats panel. This delay is usually 8 - 12 minutes for cam4, sometimes depending on various factors (network connection, server response time and so on) this delay can go even higher. So please do not expect to be notified immediately after a performer goes online. This service is applicable only to performers that stay online for at least a couple of hours.

Thank you for the info on time delay on notification. A couple of broadcasters in the pass several days have come on and left between 15 or 20 minutes of being online.

OK, maybe I have exaggerated a bit, but if the whole show lasts 20 - 30 minutes and you get notified after 15 minutes into the show, you pretty much miss the whole thing.

After all, a good show lasts for more than 30 minutes.
